CH. 12 BANKRUPTCY
WHAT IS CHAPTER 12 BANKRUPTCY?
In response to the family farm crisis of the early 1980's, Congress created a special set of rules for people who own at least 50% of their income from farming or agricultural sources. Chapter 12 combines many of the features of Chapter 11 (power and flexibility) and of Chapter 13 (ease of use and lesser costs) to aid family farmers. There are not a lot of family farmers on the west side of Los Angeles, but there are many people who make wine from grapes they grow in the Central District of California, including the Santa Ynez Valley and Temecula. Rick can help you find the best way of treating those issues.
